reatime	Will using the Web Portal allow us to see changes made from AL-Desk in real time?	Yes, changes made to product descriptions, rates and any other data used in AL-Desk will show immediately on any web site that uses the AL-Desk Web Portal.		Edit
programming	What web development tool does the portal support?	Any web development tool can be used. We already have users using PHP, ASP and ASP.NET. Since the Web Portal uses industry standard xml over http it is "development tool agnostic".		Edit
Fast	How hard is it to deploy the web portal?	The Web Portal is another server, just like the AL-Desk Server you already are running. Deploying the web portal is just a matter of copying it to your AL-Desk Server machine and running it.		Edit
Credit Card	Can we use our existing AL-Desk Credit Card Server with the Web Portal?	Yes. The Web Portal uses the AL-Desk Credit Card server to process credit card sales. This means that your AL-Desk reports will reflect sales from your web site. To use the Web Portal with the Credit Card server you just need to run the web portal and enter some configuration settings. The Web Portal supports secure (SSL) communication with your web site. FAx	Does the web portal support faxing?	Yes, the web portal allows any html document that your web team can design to be faxed using the AL-Pro Fax Server.		Edit
website	We don't have a web site, can you help us design one?	Yes! We have example web sites using a template system that can readily be re-designed with your graphics. We have fully functioning web sites ready to go and can add your graphics and logo quickly to get you up and running faster than you can imagine.		Edit
Content	On our web site we need to add and manage content that is not available from AL-Pro. Can the Web Portal help with that?	Yes, the Web Portal has a full Content Management system (CMS) that allows you to define content and even tie it to Products. in the future the CMS will also support foreign language translation.
